My inspiration was to create a modern Victorian portrait. While there are certain techniques I use regularly in my digital art, the process is always a little different for each piece. Some pieces flow from the start while others are a struggle. This one wasn t clicking at first but after a while, the colors, textures, and effects began flowing and layering organically and it became very colorful and whimsical with a little bit of sparkle! Once I saw where she wanted to go – I followed her lead ☺️.
